Holiday Crew Enjoy a Winning Trip to Weymouth
The Holiday Crew’s trip to Weymouth turned out to be a memorable few days, with plenty of laughs, a few unexpected adventures and, most importantly, some impressive winning form.
Bingo proved particularly successful, with someone from the party winning every night, including Jim, who managed the impressive feat of winning twice! There were also several quiz victories to celebrate, proving that the group had brains as well as luck on their side.
One of the funniest moments of the trip came during a visit to a beautiful church in Bridport. While looking around, one of them was rather unexpectedly asked whether he had “come for the food bank”! It certainly provided one of the more memorable moments of the holiday.
The group also took a rather adventurous open-top bus trip out to Portland Bill. They managed to avoid the rain, but perhaps underestimated the conditions. As the bus travelled alongside Chesil Beach, the group discovered there was a Force 9 crosswind making the journey considerably more exciting than anyone had anticipated!
All in all, it was a trip full of good fortune, good humour and plenty of memories to bring home.
