A Thank you from the British Heart Foundation

We are delighted to share that our club has raised an incredible £1,200 for the British Heart Foundation thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our members and supporters.

The money was raised throughout the year at various club events, with a significant boost coming from last year’s President’s Dinner, where members kindly donated to the chosen charity. In addition, funds were collected through raffles held at club events and the sale of handmade crafts created during our popular Craft and Natter mornings.

Our Craft and Natter sessions have not only been a wonderful opportunity for members to socialise and share their creativity, but they have also contributed to a fantastic cause. The beautiful handmade items produced during these mornings were sold at club events, helping to raise vital funds.

The British Heart Foundation carries out life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases, and we are proud that our club has been able to support their important work.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets, crafted items, and supported our events throughout the year. Your kindness and generosity have made a real difference.
