Norton A are the A Division League Champions!!

The Snooker League season finished on Wednesday with mixed results for the two Norton Teams. 

Whilst Norton A are the A Division League Champions, unfortunately, Norton B will be relegated and challenging in the B Division next year.

Norton A has been formed out of ex-Highcliffe Club members and consists of 3 generations of the Holmes family & 2 generations of the Petryshyn family. Two of the players Geoff Holmes & Jock Borthwick have a combined age of over 170!! So you’re never too old!! 

There will be opportunities for Norton members to represent Norton at snooker next season, either as additions to the current two teams, or even the possibility, depending on numbers, to create a third Norton team. Details will follow nearer the start of next season. 

Both Norton teams now start the Cup Competition, so good luck to both teams, let’s hope for an additional trophy for the Norton trophy cabinet!!
