World Cup Sweepstake Winners!

The excitement of the World Cup may have come to an end, but celebrations are continuing at Norton Country Club as the club has officially announced the winners of its popular World Cup Sweepstake.

Following weeks of thrilling football action, predictions and friendly rivalry, members gathered to discover who would be taking home the top prizes.

David Stevenson Takes the Title

Claiming first place was David Stevenson, whose sweepstake team Spain went all the way to secure the tournament victory. David finished at the top of the standings to become this year's World Cup Sweepstake Champion.

Thomas Phipps Finishes Runner-Up

Second place went to Thomas Phipps, who drew Argentina. A strong tournament performance earned Thomas an impressive runner-up finish.

Brian Moulson Secures Third

Completing the podium was Brian Moulson, whose team England delivered enough success to secure third place in the sweepstake standings.

Special Awards

The competition also recognised several standout achievements throughout the tournament.

The Golden Boot prize was awarded to Jim Harrison, whose selection of Kylian Mbappé (France) finished as the tournament's leading goalscorer.
